Celia García Feced

Doctor of Forestry Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Her research work to date has focused on the proposal of methodologies for the integration of landscape ecology and forest planning.

This activity has been developed mainly within the framework of the ECOPORF and DECOFOR projects. During these years she has made long stays at the University of Berkeley (California, USA), where she has worked in the framework of the SNAMP project in the measurement by Lidar technology of parameters of horizontal and vertical structure of forest stands, and at the Alterra Research Center (Wageningen, Netherlands).

Doctora Ingeniera de Montes por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Su labor investigadora hasta la fecha se ha centrado en la propuesta de metodologías para la integración de la ecología del paisaje y la planificación forestal.

Esta actividad se ha desarrollado principalmente en el marco de los proyectos ECOPORF y DECOFOR. Durante estos años ha realizado largas estancias en la Universidad de Berkeley (California, USA), donde ha trabajado en el marco del proyecto SNAMP en la medición mediante tecnología Lidar de parámetros de estructura horizontal y vertical de las masas forestales, y en el Centro de Investigación Alterra (Wageningen, Países Bajos).
