He holds a PhD in Forestry Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and is part of the research team of the Department of Research and Forestry Experiences of Valonsadero (Junta de Castilla y León).
His research work focuses on ecological niche and species distribution models, as well as on the relationships between environmental variables and station quality, on which he has published several works in national and international journals.
