Carolina Martínez Santa-María

Doctor in Forestry Engineering from the UPM. She is currently Professor of General and Applied Hydraulics and Surface Hydrology and Soil Conservation in the Teaching Unit of Hydraulics and Hydrology of the E.U.I.T. Forestal.

Preferred field of research:

– Environmental flow regime
– Restoration of river ecosystems
They stand out, among other works:

– Development of IAHRIS (Software for the estimation of alteration indices of the flow regime)
– Development of the RAC Methodology to obtain environmental flow regime scenarios.
– Characterization of the natural flow regime and evaluation of its alteration in the rivers Júcar and Cabriel, eFlus.

Doctor Ingeniero de Montes por la UPM. Actualmente es profesora titular de Hidráulica General y Aplicada e Hidrología de Superficie y Conservación de Suelos en la Unidad Docente de Hidráulica e Hidrología de la E.U.I.T. Forestal.

• Régimen ambiental de caudales
• Restauración de ecosistemas fluviales

• Desarrollo de IAHRIS (Software para la estimación de índices de alteración del régimen de caudales)
• Desarrollo de la Metodología RAC para la obtención de escenarios de régimen ambiental de caudales
• Caracterización del régimen natural de caudales y evaluación de su alteración en los ríos Júcar y Cabriel, eFlus.
