Marta Ortega Quero

Degree in CC. Biologist and Doctor in Ecology and Environment since 1994. She has specialised in the multi-scale study of plant biodiversity, analysing it from the ecosystemic to the landscape scale, as well as its role as an indicator of environmental sustainability. Since 2000 she has focused on landscape ecology and participates in the maintenance of the system for monitoring changes in Spanish rural landscapes (SISPARES) of the network of Spanish rural landscapes (REDPARES). This system is currently being integrated into a future European biodiversity observation network, the EBONE project of the VII Framework Programme. He has published 19 articles (9 in SCI journals) and 7 of them on landscape ecology. He has participated in 10 research projects, 5 of them related to Landscape Ecology and has made 30 communications to national and international congresses.

Licenciada en CC. Biológicas y Doctora en Ecología y Medio Ambiente desde 1994. Se ha especializado en el estudio multiescalar de la biodiversidad vegetal, analizándola desde la escala ecosistémica a la de paisaje, así como su papel de indicador de sostenibilidad ambiental. Desde el año 2000 se ha centrado en la ecología del paisaje y participa en el mantenimiento del sistema de seguimiento de cambios de paisajes rurales españoles (SISPARES) de la red de paisajes rurales de España (REDPARES). Actualmente se encarga de la integración este sistema en una futura red europea de observación de la biodiversidad, el proyecto EBONE del VII Programa Marco. Ha publicado 19 artículos (9 en revistas SCI) y 7 de ellos sobre ecología del paisaje. Ha participado en 10 proyectos de investigación, 5 de ellos relacionados con la Ecología del Paisaje y ha realizado 30 comunicaciones a congresos nacionales e internacionales.
